Storyline: George Washington is the story of a group of children on the verge of adulthood during one long, hot summer. Set in a rural town in North Carolina, the group of youngsters find themselves caught in a tragic lie after an innocent game goes wrong. Forced to confront a tangle of difficult choices they struggle to be true to themselves and discover what it takes to make a modern American hero.
